Rapidly growing Golden Malted® is hiring an experienced Operations Coordinator - International at our South Bend facility.  Shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

This is a non-exempt, full-time position with medical, dental, life, paid time off and 401k benefits.

We are the largest supplier of waffle mix in the United States for the best hotels, universities, restaurants and theme parks.   Golden Malted® Waffles are also enjoyed throughout the world. Our waffles are distributed to several countries including Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Greece, New Zealand, South Africa and Sweden.

The Operations Coordinator – International coordinates the production, storage, and distribution of the company’s products to International Distributors globally.  This process directly impacts the company’s achievement of the company’s financial targets and goals.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Support business relationships with International customers
  • Assist in product and equipment forecasts to fulfill International orders
  • Account management (A/R, Billing, Collections etc.)
  • Validate and verify International shipments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate and communicate with freight forwarding companies to insure timely shipment and delivery
  • Maintain documentation on requirements for International endpoints
  • Support International Operations Manager
  • Provide feedback on potential systems modifications and process improvements
  • Provide proactive communications and solutions for distribution issues
  • Maintain contact with all customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Lead by example in the areas of personal character, commitment, organizational skills, and work habits
  • Accept and assume responsibility and follow-up with all direct customers
  • Cross-train with the Equipment support position

Required Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years accounting background and a solid financial and business acumen
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience within Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains and CRM software
  • Logistics and/or International experience helpful

Required Skills:

  • Organization expertise
  • Ability to create and produce monthly reports
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools( Excel, Outlook, web databases)
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
