Rapidly growing Golden Malted® is hiring an experienced Senior National Sales Representative.  This is a full-time exempt position with salary range of $100k to $125k per year.

We are the largest supplier of waffle mix in the United States for the best hotels, universities, restaurants and theme parks. Golden Malted® Waffles are also enjoyed throughout the world. Our waffles are distributed to several countries including Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Greece, New Zealand, South Africa and Sweden.

The National Sales Representative position focuses on restaurant, leisure and retail accounts at the national level.  The position is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to enhance the customer base and increase sales and profitability of the organization.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of sales strategy for the market to ensure Company sales goals and profitability is attained
  • Implement the Company’s sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling to customer’s decision makers in large national or regional accounts
  • Collaborate with Marketing and the Executive Sales Team to define overall strategy as well as develop products and solutions responsive to customer business
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations to accounts and senior management
  • Meet and/or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes
  • Maintain contact with all customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Accept and assume responsibility and follow-up with all direct customers
  • Create a hit list and develop strategies to attain new customers and improve and secure business as needed
  • Represent the Company at industry tradeshows as necessary
  • Assist developing markets and recommend strategic growth plans for National Sales
  • Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business within the national account arena

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, economics or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in account sales and marketing
  • High level of financial and business acumen
  • National restaurant customer experience
  • Proven successful track record in sourcing sales

  • Willingness to travel and ability to work flexible schedules in and out of the office

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen required.
