Rapidly growing Golden Malted® is hiring an experienced Mobility Support and Development Associate for our IT Help Desk at our facility in South Bend, IN. The shifts are 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a two week rotation of Monday-Thursday and Tuesday-Friday. This is a full-time non-exempt position.  Benefits include PTO, medical, dental, life and 401k plan.

We are the largest supplier of waffle mix in the United States for the best hotels, universities, restaurants and theme parks. Golden Malted® Waffles are also enjoyed throughout the world. Our waffles are distributed to several countries including Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Greece, New Zealand, South Africa and Sweden.

The Mobility Support and Development Associate Identifies, manages, escalates, and resolves technical issues with mobile devices and applications supporting sales and field service.  Installs and configures software, print drivers, utilities, etc. to be utilized on workstations and computer networks.  Troubleshoots all information technology issues, including software, hardware, and networking.  Monitors installed systems, identify problems, and takes corrective action.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Maintains mobile inventory, training log, and issues log for mobile applications as well as the driver information sheet.
  • Monitors contracts and all related metrics of management for Cellular Network accounts.
  • Oversees and minimizes contract expenses related to mobile devices.
  • Assists the IT manager in the development of enhancements to CRM, GP and the mobile applications as well as any special project requests.
  • Supports/assists corporate trainer in development and deployment of training related to the operation of mobile sales and service technologies.
  • Provides training as necessary to the Sales and Service Field Representatives on mobile sales and service technology.
  • Assists in testing of new software and enhancements involving mobile sales and service technologies.
  • Maintains Mobile Device Management system and administration of all policies related to mobile devices in use.
  • Assists with testing and problem resolution related to applications supported on the mobile devices.
  • Provides Desktop Support to local office users.
  • Stays up to date and informed of new developments and technologies.
  • Provides end-users with training as laid out by the IT Manager or at the request of business management.
  • Perform backup duties for the Microsoft engineer such as rolling out group policies, monitoring and ensuring backups are up to date.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems management or equivalent training and or experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Strong customer service background
  • Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Sharepoint, and Microsoft CRM preferred

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of network technologies and management including Bluetooth, WiFi (802.11x) and TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of Windows Desktop OS, Microsoft Office, and MDM Technology and practice
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with desktop and smartphone technologies.
  • Ability to evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends to prevent problems
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal and presentation skills

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
