Rapidly growing Golden Malted® is hiring a Sales Representative that is responsible for promoting Carbon’s® products and services to increase consumer demand in the restaurant and hospitality markets.  Will independently source new business opportunities through cold calling and development of lead sources.

We are the largest supplier of waffle mix in the United States for the best hotels, universities, restaurants and theme parks.  Golden Malted® Waffles are also enjoyed throughout the world. Our waffles are distributed to several countries including Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Greece, New Zealand, South Africa and Sweden.

This is an exempt, full-time position with annual salary and commission with bonus opportunity, medical, dental, life, and 401k benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Protect and expand our client base in coordination with Sales Management
  • Present price, credit and terms in accordance with company policy
  • Educate customers about terminology features and benefits of products in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Make calls from provided lists in accordance with company policy
  • Face-to-face sales presentations to potential customers
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Identify and secure new business relationships within assigned territory
  • Develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company
  • Reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites

As a Sales Representative for Golden Malted® you must be a self-starter, be able to work without direct supervision, have excellent time management, communication and computer skills.

Additional requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year cold calling sales experience, food service experience helpful
  • Demonstrated business-to-business sales success, such as a history of exceeding goals/quotas or leading a peer group in sales performance
  • Acceptable driving record

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen required.
